Restructuring & Insolvency Paralegal International Law Firm 12 month FTC.

Our client, an international law firm is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their leading Restructuring & Insolvency team. This role is being offered on an initial 12 month FTC, in the firms London office.

The Restructuring & Insolvency team are recognised for their expertise in experience in advising corporates and individuals in relation to all aspects of domestic and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will be joining the team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract. You will be assisting team servicing insolvency practitioners, lenders, funds, corporates and all stakeholders in contentious and non-contentious restructurings, formal insolvencies and turnaround situations.

Responsibilities

• Engaged in various non-contentious Research and Innovation (R&I) issues, offering assistance in distressed sales and acquisitions.


• Conducted Company searches, land registry searches, and crafted company structure charts.


• Managed documents for contentious matters, participating in disclosure and preparing pleadings.


• Undertook tasks such as note-taking, drafting, research, and legal analysis under supervision.


• Leveraged legal technology and products to enhance team support and provide added value to clients.

The Ideal Candidate

At least six months previous paralegal experience gained either in R&I or any of the following areas: corporate, finance, real estate and/or fraud, disputes and investigations. Ideally you will have gained experience in private practice, in a similar international law firm.
