Technical Programme Manager - IT Security

Start Date: December - January - (4 week notice period Max). Onboarding would normally take around 4 weeks.

Contract Length: 12 Months + Extension

Location: UK Remote

Pay: 700 - 890 per day INSIDE IR35

I am working with a leading Tech Leader who is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join their team remotely from the UK. This person will be a true leader to ensure the creation of a safe and trusted environment for their end users. You will be responsible for assessing risks and putting the appropriate mitigations in place.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project as soon as possible, however, we can accommodate a reasonable notice period, of four weeks maximum. The onboarding period normally takes around 3-4 weeks.

Job Description Highlights:

  1. Technical Program Management Support: Providing support to teams ensuring a safe and trusted user environment, staying at the forefront of integrity and security by implementing and assessing protections against new and existing threats.
  2. Adaptability and Agility: Needing to be nimble in assessing risks and implementing mitigations as the apps grow and change.
  3. Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination: Working closely with engineering teams, product managers, security specialists, and other stakeholders within the Integrity team and related app environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Work Planning: Developing detailed work plans for complex projects with technical and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Dependency Management: Identifying and aligning key dependencies within the Integrity team and related app structures.
  • Decision Making: Contributing to key technical and project decisions by assessing options and driving alignment.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring internal compliance, such as privacy regulations, and producing regular project reporting while handling critical issue escalations.
  • Collaborative Environment: Collaborating effectively within a team environment across engineering and other disciplines to drive initiatives forward.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Cross-functional Team Experience: Experience in working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Scientists, Product Management, Product Design, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Project Management: Expertise or education in project management and fostering cross-functional partnerships.

The role demands a blend of technical understanding, project management skills, adaptability to changing environments, and a strong emphasis on collaboration and cross-functional coordination to ensure the safety and integrity of the apps.
