Technical Accessibility Consultant

£550 a day Outside IR35

Fully Remote

2 month Initial

Technical accessibility consultant required to work for an initial two-month contract, reviewing wireframes and user stories and providing technical recommendations on HTML, CSS and JS implementation.

Required:

  • Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1
  • HTML
  • ARIA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Supporting skills

  • Able to provide accessible CSS and JavaScript recommendations.

The team are working on a new web component library, which will be used to allow content editors to drop these components onto web pages, to build up the look and feel of its content. We'll be taking an accessibility first approach to development, therefore a consultant with the technical expertise to advise on accessible markup is key to the success of this project.
