Job title: Supply Chain Governance Specialist

Start date: Immediate
Duration: Up to Dec 2024 (Extension possible beyond this)
Pay rate: Up to 23.73 PAYE depending on experience ( 31.73 Umbrell rate)
Location: Gloucester Business Park (1-2 days per week remote working)
Hours of work: 5 days per week (37 hours per week)
Our client, who are leading in the nuclear generation industry now have an immediate requirement for an Supply Chain Governance Specialist to join their team based in Gloucester Business Park. The Supply Chain Governance Specialist will support supply chain governance, oversight and compliance arrangements across the Generation Nuclear Industry. The Supply Chain Governance Specialist will support the development and implementation of process and performance improvement interfacing across the Generation Nuclear industry. The Governance team as a whole underpins regulatory and process compliance to the AGS and other Supply Chain processes as well as their Operating Licence Conditions.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:
- Experience within a Supply Chain related role.
- Precious experience of good stakeholder management.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and present it others using IT systems e.g. PowerPoint, excel,
- word etc.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication, influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to promote effective teamwork.
Role information:
- Support the development and implementation of the Generation Supply Chain Governance Strategy.
- Support the development, implementation and promotion of functional improvement activities.
- Collation, publication and distribution of functional key performance information.
- Support the business in applying the supplier pre-qualification standards, vendor database.
- management standards and administering the vendor database.
- Maintain appropriate level of external supplier contact to undertake responsibilities effectively and
- liaison with Supply Chain Management to ensure business and operational support.
- Communicate with key stakeholders across the Generation business.
- Participate in fleet wide peer groups.
- Support delivery of Supply Chain related training and development.
