Title: Build Engineer- IBM MQ

Location: Remote/Sheffield

Length: 10 months

Rate: 453 Inside IR35

Experis are currently on the lookout for a Build Engineer with IBM MQ experience

Role Responsibilities

• 5+ years of proven IBM MQ Administration experience
• Expert level knowledge in design, installation, configuration, fixpack upgrade, and administration of IBM MQ & BRK
• Expert level knowledge in deploying and configuring highly available IBM MQ solutions (RDQM, MQHA with VCS and Pacemaker etc)
• SSL certificate management experience
• Problem solving / analytical skills, tools, and techniques with experience in troubleshooting MQ issues as well as other complex MQ & Broker performance issues
• Detailed knowledge of Linux & Windows OS administration is essential
• Experience working or integrating with Apache Kafka, Amazon MQ, Active MQ and Solace
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferable DevOps Pipelines and Ansible)
• Understanding of ITIL and ITSM frameworks
• Experience with change management processes and tools (preferably ServiceNow)
• Ability to work, learn new applications, and resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to clearly document and explain symptoms and solutions to complex problems
