Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Software Engineer to join a global leader in nuclear energy solutions, committed to advancing technology for a sustainable and reliable future.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation neutronic code suite, incorporating GPU server software application development, advanced technologies and cloud-based software engineering.
Contract role until December 2024.
Fully remote.
The client is open to offering a permanent position for the role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop methodologies to integrate advanced technologies into nuclear design software.
- Design, modify, and maintain software applications on CPU and GPU servers, with a particular focus on Fortran 95/2003 and GPU server software development.
- Collaborate with the software development team, providing status reports on quality, budget, and schedule.
- Perform software verification and validation activities.
- Document work in compliance with engineering procedures.
- Lead or participate in code reviews and inspections.
