Senior UI Developer Edinburgh up to 400 per day (Inside IR35 Remote)

React, JavaScript, TypeScript, UX and UI, GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps, Containers and Node.js

Change Digital are working closely with an industry leading SaaS organisation in the UK who are looking for a Senior UI Developer to join their existing team. As a senior team member, you will be driving architecture decisions, developing and improving features, and working directly with stakeholders to deliver world-class products. In addition, your efforts will be recognized and used by a large and growing community of users across the globe in a wide variety of industries.

As a Microsoft Partner, the organisation makes use of Microsoft Azure, and the latest enterprise tools such as GitHub Copilot. In your career you will have worked in an agile team to deliver software of significant complexity. You will be happy working on intricate algorithmic problems or looking at solutions in their wider context.

As part of a cross-skilled team, you will:

• Write code every day.


• Help to drive engineering quality across the full application stack.


• Champion the use of best practices and standards.


• Collaborate with the Team Lead and Product Owner to refine and deliver the best possible solutions.


• Interact with the rest of the business to gain deep understanding of our products, customers, and users.

Successful candidates will have significant professional experience within a software engineering team and will be:

• An adaptable, senior developer, capable of delivering robust, quality solutions with a high level of autonomy.


• A software quality evangelist, demonstrating a commitment to best patterns and practices.


• Passionate about great UX and UI.


• Excited to write a complex browser-based application (Excellent at technical communication).

Experience in the following is essential:

• JavaScript, TypeScript


• SPA frameworks / libraries, preferably React


• Building complex web applications


• State management techniques


• webpack


• VS Code


• git

Experience in the following is desirable:

• Azure DevOps


• Containers


• Node.js
