UKEF are building a new application flow that allows Exporters to apply for Export Insurance. With user centred design and accessibility at the forefront, we are digitising previous paper based flows.

Our team works in an agile/scrum environment - we’re very friendly and collaborative. Short daily stand ups and bi-weekly retros etc. The technical team is very small at the moment, and we need another pair of hands.

As a Senior Developer you'll have relevant experience in:

• Experience in Node.js, JavaScript essential.
• Database and data modelling for SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with API integrations.
• Consuming UI design systems ideally UK Gov Design system.
• TDD.
• Security awareness.
• Self-driven and team player - able to own stories.
• Commitment to Clean code, scalability, DRY.
  

Desireable:

• TypeScript
• GraphQL
• Cypress E2E tests
• Nunjucks templates
• Used to working in CI/CD
• Public Sector experience.
• Previous experience developing GOV.UK products.
• Experience defining Technical architecture.
