A boutique fintech based in central London are looking for a contract QA Developer with 2/3 years’ commercial experience to join their growing team in London and be a part of a ground-breaking new product that is disrupting finance.

QA Developer contract: 6 months (with extension available)

Rate: Dependent upon experience

The business

This fintech business have been around for over a decade, providing a range of services throughout the finance sector; they moved into the fintech space a few years ago with a cutting-edge product that is unique within the market.

As a QA Developer you will be responsible for planning, developing and maintaining automation test scripts in line with the automation strategy the company has in place. Your role will involve performance testing, functional testing and security testing – monitoring the infrastructure and the front/backend systems.

They have a really exciting pipeline of new integrations that are required throughout the year, so there will be plenty to do.

Requirements

• Cypress functional testing with Typescript


• REST and API testing


• k6 load test development


• BDD, Github, Atlassian, CI/CD


• Desire to be agile, practical, pragmatic, and lean


• If you have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or financial pricing products this would also be useful but isn’t mandator

They have a mostly remote workforce, however meet in London once a week, so you’ll need to be in reach of their London office.
