Contract Length: Initially 6 months

Day Rate: c 375 - 450 DOE inside ir35

Location: Remote

We are working with a Law Firm who are looking for a Product Owner to join their data team.

You would be responsible for your own product backlog and as a Product Owner, you will work within an Agile Scrum team and get to know our clients' roles, needs, pressures and measures of success, to identify how creative products can help them to get their work done.

Role Responsibilities:

• You will be a key decision maker, working closely with the relevant lead and key team members to craft and deliver stories that ultimately help us to achieve our aims and objectives.
• You will own your own backlog, agree priorities with business stakeholders, and ensure that the backlog is ordered correctly.
• You will maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, managing expectations and supporting discussions with clients
• You will take an active role in assisting the relevant lead with the product/service life cycle - involved in planning, process design and deployment.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that reports developed add the desired value and are adopted by our customers
• You will work closely with key team members to understand required changes, facilitate communication between the team and the other interested parties and ensure the team is directed to work on the highest priority tasks.
• Create user stories to breakdown features and epics into end-to-end functionality
• You will work closely with Product Owners of core claims systems, from which data is extracted, to ensure there is 'joined-up' thinking in terms of product and data development

Candidates MUST have:

• MUST have SSRS and Power BI skills to be successful
• You should have a strong client focus and consistent track record of delivering to user needs
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge in the domain of insurance and claims
• You will have some experience in working with data and will understand the importance of data, both how it is stored and how it is consumed
