Product and Software Security Assurance Lead - Defence

Role: Product Integration Security Lead

Location: Remote with time in London & Corsham

Rates: Up to 650p/d Inside IR35

Length: 6 Months

Are you a security assurance specialist with a background in product assurance and software integration within defence?

We are working with a defence SME that is looking to hire a security specialist on an initial 6 Months basis to support the engineering and security team with MoD product security assurance across networking and software products.

The product itself crosses software and systems security and the business are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of relevant JSP's and ISO's for securely integrating products with the UK MoD.

The team will be integrating a product on a secure by design process so this would be an ideal role for an individual looking to work within this space or an individual who already has experience across JSP security and secure by design.

You will be involved in;

• Leading security risk assessments on current and in flight products.
• Working with the team on JSP 604.
• Interpret MoD security requirements (BSIMM, JSP and NIST)
• Working with the internal and external teams to align NCSC security and product principles.
• Providing product side security advise and assurance to the business.
