Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in the South West in the search for a Major Projects Planning Consultant, this is to specialise on a large Major Renewable EIA Project - Offshore Windfarm. You will  join their town planning department team on an initial 6-month contract on a remote basis - Part-time - Outside IR35.
 
We are looking for a confident and experienced planning specialist to take a lead role on the application. You will be present from the pre-application stage and submission through to decision stage of the formal application, this will be a part time role (working 24 hours/3 days per week) and can be worked remotely in the main with some limited visits to the site likely to be required. The planning performance agreement (PPA) is in place and we are looking for an experienced planner who has previously dealt with EIA and renewable developments.

It would be beneficial to hold a Post-graduate degree in planning, regeneration or a related discipline, and have the eligibility for membership of RTPI.
