Job Title: Locum Planning Lawyer

Location: South East England
Rate: Up to 60 per hour umbrella
Working Hours: Ideally full time, however the Organisation will consider candidates offering part-time availability

Working Arrangement: Remote working with first day attendance to set up equipment and potential ad-hoc committee attendance (although not essential)

Venn Group s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Public Sector Organisation based in South East England in the search for an experienced Locum Planning Lawyer.
 
Duties may include:

• Independently handling a varied planning and CPO caseload within the Council
• Responsible for advising clients on Section 106 agreements and negotiating legal obligations related to planning applications
• Draft and negotiate deed of variations for planning agreements
• Providing guidance in relation to Highways matters, this may include dealing with S.38/S.278 agreements
• Building relationships with the Organisation s clients and partnerships in order to optimise the provision of legal services

This can be either a full time or part time position on a remote basis offering up to 60 per hour umbrella and will be a 6 month initial contract with likely extensions thereafter.
