An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a reputable London local authority on a locum basis, for at least 3-6 months. This team rarely recruit due to high stability and low turnover, so it's a great chance to join them.
Remote working is on offer, with office attendance required just once a month for a team meeting. Part-time and full-time applicants are encouraged.
This flexible and collaborative local authority is looking for a commercially minded and motivated Lawyer to be an integral part of the team and deliver on a range of contracts and procurement work for the council.
The successful locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer will be handling a diverse range of procurement, contract and governance matters including:
- Collaborative procurements
- Joint ventures
- Council owned companies
- Frameworks
- Dynamic purchasing systems
- Construction projects etc.

To assume the role of locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will have at least 3 years' PQE and prior experience working in the public sector, ideally for local government.
