Are you an experienced Adults Social Worker looking for a new opportunity with remote working available?

A local authority in southwest London is giving you the opportunity to join their Adults Locality Team!

The local authority is offering up to 32 per hour for this role, you will visit approximately 3 service users per week (most social workers can fit these visits into 1 day) so you'll be able to work from home 4 days per week. Do expect to be office based initially for your induction!

The team has a permanent designated duty worker so you don't have to deal with duty or emergencies! They also offer overtime hours at an enhanced rate!

The contract will be a rolling contract, initially 3 months but many of the locum staff on this team have been there for over 12 months giving you an excellent insight into the working environment you'll be joining!

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Undertake assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
• Work in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
• Apply social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity.
