p>We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced In House Legal Counsel to join our client in the Logistics industry on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will work remotely with occasional face-to-face team meetings, supporting various legal aspects with a primary focus on Corporate and Commercial Law. The successful candidate will also have involvement in their ongoing digitization transformation, focusing on the UK and occasionally handling customer contracts in the Central and Eastern Europe region.

This role is inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer contracts, often tailoring existing templates.
• Providing legal support to the IT and Supply Chain departments.
• Handling elements of procurement within the legal framework.
• Supporting the business in its ongoing digitization transformation project.
• Managing legal disputes and sending notices for unpaid invoices.
• Understanding pricing structures and documenting new proposals.
• Participating in negotiations with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• In-house legal experience with a focus on Corporate and Commercial Law.
• At least 5 years PQE
• Familiarity with UK and Central/Eastern Europe legal frameworks.
• Experience in handling customer contracts and procurement.
• Previous involvement in digitization transformation projects is desirable.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to understand pricing structures and document proposals.
