My client is looking to take on a Java Developer on an initial 3 month contract with very strong likelihood of extension beyond this. The role will be 100% home-based but you must be UK based and it's paying 5450 - 600pd (Neg) OUTSIDE IR35.

You will be working to make improvements, updates and enhancements to an existing EdTech platform.


Essential skillset / experience:
- Extensive Java backend development
- Modern Java-based API frameworks, such as Spring Boot/Jersey to develop REST-based APIs.
- Google Cloud / GCP

Desirable skillset / experience:
- Experience with Java Restlet framework.
- Experience of working with Google Web Toolkit.
- Knowledge of developing accessible front ends.
- Federated single sign-on using SAML protocol.
