Information Security Analyst - 4/5 Days Remote Working - Inside IR35 - 3 Month Contract - Equivalent to £400 a day via an Umbrella Company

TEKsystems are on the lookout for an Information Security Analyst to join one of our clients for a 3 month contract, with a possibility of extension as there is around 6-12 months worth of work.

The Information Security Analyst will be joining a small Information Security team, who are quite junior in their security posture to help them to become a more proactive security function, as previously they have been more reactive. As part of the contract you will be doing typical BAU activities such as resolving tickets, you will also be taking ownership of remediation plans for actions off the back of vulnerability assessments, and use SIEM tools such as Qualys and Bitsight to conduct these.

The security team is also going through an ISO27001 recertification so previous knowledge of how to apply the findings of audits would be great, the manager is willing to help build on any previous understanding.

The Information Security Analyst that TEKsystems are looking for should have:

• Vulnerability assessment using Qualys and/or Bitsight

• Ability to create and own remediation plans.

• A passion for security and desire to be part of a hard working team.

• Knowledge of applying the findings of ISO 27001 audits.
