We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled IBM Z Storage Manager to be responsible for zSeries storage hardware and software infrastrcuture.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for leading, building and supporting the zSeries Storage hardware and software infrastructure.

1. Performing a Technical Project Management role for large zSeries infrastructure deployment and evergreening projects
2. Setting up automation to reduce manaual interventions in the Storage infrastructure
3. zSeries Storage hardware / software design, configuration, testing, implementation and support
4. Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. zSeries Storage Management / Engineering background preferred and / or experience to equivalent level
2. Supporting and / or leading technical management of large infrastructure deployment projects
3. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IT environment and the embedded controls within change, incident, and problem management processes
4. Working and partnering with vendors (e.g. IBM, DELL, Broadcom)

Desired Tecnical Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. IBM Core Knowledge
2. IBM Storage Knowledge
3. Knowledge of zSeries Systems Programming concepts and technologies
4. Knowledge of: GKLM, Spectrum Control and Storage insights and API exploitation
