Job Description: This role is for a HR Advisor at a large insurance firm in Central London, operating on a remote basis with occasional travel required. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, focusing on employee relations and HR project support. The ideal candidate will have prior HR advisory experience and familiarity with Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, coach, and challenge line management with people-focused issues, ensuring cases are managed to quality standards and timescales.
  • Proactively handle employee relations issues.
  • Assist and support with the onboarding of acquisitions.
  • Provide support across several projects on the HR plan and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR procedures, including HR Systems, policies, and practices.
  • Assist the Head of HR with aspects of change management, ensuring change is planned, managed, and implemented in accordance with business needs.
  • Collaborate with the HR Leadership team to collate and analyze people-related data to establish trends and propose resolutions to identified issues.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role, particularly in handling employee relations cases.
  • Experience in high-volume HR environments.
  • Workday experience preferred.

Some duties will include:

  • Support, coach, and challenge line management with people focused issues prioritising as appropriate, ensuring cases are managed to quality standards and timescales.
  • Proactively handle employee relations issues.
  • Assist and support with the onboarding of acquisitions.
