p>We are seeking an Economist for an initial 8-week contract, with likely extension. Remote working. The role involves producing the economic justification for a new IT system to facilitate grant delivery, aligning with the broader business case. Compliance with Treasury standards outlined in The Green Book is essential 
Key requirements:
- Significant experience of economic support to government, including producing the economic case for a government business case for multiple projects.
- Experience working on economic cases in relation to government IT projects (desirable).
- Demonstrable practitioner level familiarity with the Green Book and with the Treasury's five case model
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team - ideally you will be familiar with working on major projects on multi-disciplinary teams.
Remote working with possible occasional meeting in Bristol
