We're big enough to be taken seriously, yet small enough to operate with an agile, open, relationship-driven approach. Our clients come to us with problems that need genuine thought, intelligence and knowledge; we're not just putting bodies on seats.
We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a project with one of our most recognised clients.
The Project:
This project strives to pioneer the next generation of market infrastructure by leveraging distributed ledger technology (DLT) to tokenise securities. The outcome will be an enhanced issuance process, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and security, while also facilitating the fractionalisation of security instruments, rendering them significantly more liquid and accessible than before.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and demonstrable experience of commercial cloud platforms and should be able to work as part of a mid-sized team.
The DevOps Engineer will be required to possess the following skills/experience:
- Strong experience working with Amazon Web Services or Azure (both preferred)
- Strong use of Terraform for IAC, provisioning and automation.
- Experience working hands-on with Kubernetes services and Docker containers.
- Excellent appreciation, understanding and strong overall experience with security best practices and fundamentals
- Experience working in financial services, preferably in Capital Markets would be a huge bonus.
- Any experience coding/Scripting in Python would be a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills
Remote Working/Office Presence:
This hire would need to be in the client office near St Pauls Cathedral OR Synechron's offices in Bank for at least 3 days per week.
