p>My client is looking for an experienced Data Protection OpCo implementation project manager who ideally has CIPM and CIPP/E certification

Typical day includes

  • Data is at the heart of our business and our data protection team is at the heart of the company's operation with links to all different stakeholders, including employees, candidates and clients.
  • As our operational data protection professional, your assignment will be to strengthen our DP project delivery through project management and hands on implementation support to our Operating Companies (OpCos):
  • Plan and execute data protection specific or related projects on time and budget;
  • Define and manage the project scope, budget and resources necessary to complete the project plan;
  • Demonstrable experience reporting on projects at a high to low level, with varying stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage the resolution of risks and issues that can impede project delivery
  • Provide high quality status reports and management information, on the status of delivery and management of deliverables, risks/issues, resources and budget where appropriate.
  • Act as subject matter expert on data protection;
  • When needed, participating in the improvement of the data protection program by actively leading or working within a team project (eg for the implementation of a new data protection law within Randstad corporate departments), providing feedback and/or recommending enhancements;
  • Identify business and data protection risks and offer advice and potential remediations based on a reasonable balance of the applicable issues.

 Your background

  • Has 5+ years of relevant working knowledge and experience in data protection with project management delivery experience
  • Graduated as Master in Law/Business Administration with specialization in data protection;
  • In-depth data protection project management knowledge demonstrated by CIPM certification or like wise practical experience
  • Preferably also have a CIPP/E certification
  • Has a solid understanding of risk management theories, principles and practices
  • Has working knowledge of fundamental theories, principles and practices regarding data protection
  • Demonstrates ability to work autonomously on clearly defined initiatives, together with the business, in order to improve the organization processes
  • Good command of the English language (command in any other language is an asset);
  • Excellent proven stakeholder and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven use of project management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA.
