Venn Group s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Public Sector Organisation based in Midlands in the search for an experienced Locum Data Protection Officer.  This is a part time position which offers the opportunity to ensure that the Council meets its obligations under Data Protection Legislation.

Duties may include:

• Ensuring that the Council develops, implements, reviews and updates measures to comply with Data Protection Legislation
• Dealing with any complaints in relation to the processing of personal data
• Holding responsibility for the Council s privacy notice and advise on the privacy impact of any proposals
• Preparing and presenting reports to boards and committees in relation to Data Compliance and any other relevant Data Protection aspects

This post is part time, 3 days per week on a remote basis offering up to 55 per hour umbrella
