Vivid are looking to recruit a Chief Accountant for a Local Authority client in the West Midlands.

Role - Chief Accountant

Location - West Midlands

Contract length - 6 months

Work style - remote

Rate - 550-600

The role:

- To provide financial and commercial advice and support across a rang of directorates across the council.

- Deliver efficient financial services and regulations to support the delivery of corporate aims

- Deliver on the Medium Term Financial Strategy

- To establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in government

Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant

- Extensive Local Authority experience at a senior level

- Strong understanding and knowledge of regulations, standards and guidance to comply with statutory reporting
