The Role:
- Lead on procurement projects to achieve cashable savings and added value opportunities
- Prepare tender documentation and manage full processes above threshold
- Support procurement strategy delivery within assigned category areas
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Carry out bench marking activities and market analysis
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Advise on procurement process and look to improve procedures where possible
The Person:
- Previous experience within the Public Sector
- PCR2015 knowledge
- Ability to work multiple projects at once
- MCIPS or working towards desirable
- Available at short notice
