Business Analyst – Reading, contract for 6 months starting ASAP, £70/hour, remote!

My client is a leading Energy Utilities business who is looking for a Business Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Working with business system colleagues to clarify requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development process
• Understanding and documenting the IT impact surrounding this regulatory change project
• Working closely with the Change team (who will identify business process change) and IT development teams
• will support the IT PM and Business PM, be the spokesperson for IT
• Plans, prioritizes, manages and executes analysis work on multiple simple or individual complex items in order to regularly achieve cost and timescale targets.

Qualifications needed:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Background in gas/energy industry
• Clear understanding of the gas and electricity industry dataflows, metering standards and regulations
• A regulatory background and a good track record in project business analysis
• Experience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical systems
• Able to visualise and articulate proposed solutions to business problems provided by design team to business areas.
