This is a contract opportunity for experienced Technical and Solutions Architects, with extensive expertise designing and developing cutting edge government applications in the Cloud. With a significant pipeline of work within a major government department, this is an urgent requirement for Architects to make a significant social impact to the nation.

- Lead the design, build and deployment of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
- Engage with clients to understand their organisation s needs and work closely with them from developing a Cloud strategy through to delivering the full transformation journey.
- Build strong relationships as the trusted advisors for the client as they begin their Cloud journey.
- Lead Development Teams to build and deliver ideas and concepts through to cutting edge, live, valuable services for clients.
- Support Consultants in their review of function and technical specifications for clients of high complexity and quality.
- Championing agile ways of working and to GDS standards
- Designing and building Azure applications
- Cloud Development: .Net and / or NodeJS +
- Application Architecture: TOGAF
- Azure DevOps (Pipelines & Releases)
- Infrastructure as Code (BICEP / Terraform)
- Authentication / Azure Active Directory / SSO
- Containerisation (Container Apps, AKS)
- Extensive delivery of GOV / Public sector services.
- Expert knowledge of key Azure concepts and principles.
- Demonstrable experience leading development teams in end to end digital transformations.
- Extensive experience working with clients, conducting workshops, and understanding an organisations needs to best form creative and effective cloud solutions.
- Rate: Up to 650/day
- IR35: Outside
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 3 - 6 months (significant opportunity for extension)
- Location: Home based with fortnightly travel to client site
- All candidates must be UK residents
