Job Description:

  • Analytical skills - we currently have a Product Analyst that finishes at the end of the month and I would like to add more technical skills
  • Application interoperability, integration, data flows, functionality overlap
  • Real Time data/PI knowledge/understanding
  • Database knowledge
  • Maximo knowledge/understanding (desirable)
  • Automation/Scripting skills: csharp, Python (desirable)
  • Familiar with Agile & DevOps
  • Fast learner and delivery-focused
  • Medium-level (not too junior but we don't need a Senior/Principal as we have limited budget)
  • Key team member and focal point support to current SMEs within the Application Support Service teams, ensuring operational excellence across the portfolio. This team currently delivers end-to-end Application Support across a wide range of IM technologies: PI, Maximo, GIS, Assai, etc.
  • Streamline current workflows across the Renewables business, ensuring a fit-for-purpose approach and technology. Propose new initiatives and strategically align with other areas of the IT organisation
  • Contribution to, the necessary design activities to support proof of values initiatives through to productionised business critical applications. This will include considerations for all the Operational and Project requirements such as process, security, data flows and integration.
  • Being adaptable to working within a delivery context regardless of the delivery method and driver, and embrace working towards an outcome.
  • Understanding technology trends and the practical application of emerging technologies to enable new opportunities and/or to evolve existing services and capabilities.
  • Support the modernisation of our technology stack, including innovation, automation of workflows and reporting, as well as improving the user experience across the business.
  • Be a fast learner, able to pick up delivery quickly and accelerate delivery across workstreams.
