Exciting Opportunity: Contract/Freelance Android Developer
Outside IR35
3 Month Initial Contract
Remote working must be within 2 hours of UK time zone
Rate: 450- 500
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in utilizing Android Studio and the Android SDK.
- Strong grasp of either Java or Kotlin programming languages.
- Competency in Kotlin coroutines and flows.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs for connecting to backend services.
- Adept at using code versioning tools, such as GIT (Bitbucket).
- Familiarity with communication protocols/frameworks including WebSocket and Bluetooth.
- Experience with ReactiveX language tools, specifically RxJava.
- Competence in Android Jetpack.
- Understanding of Architectural Patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
- Familiarity with Material Design principles and adherence to UI/UX best practices.
- Demonstrated history of apps published on the Google Play Store or contributions to open-source projects.
Ideal experience will mean you have worked with:
- Qualcomm Bluetooth/GAIA
- Familiar with Wuqi Bluetooth chipset
- Hands on experience with BLE device communication
This is an exciting company and the products they make are premium within the market space they operate in. You will be working with a team of x2 Mobile Developers.
