Our client, an Insurance provider based in Glasgow, is looking for an Agile Infrastructure Delivery Manager for an initial 6 month contract. The role has been assessed as inside IR35 and the rate is between £400 - £450 per day to umbrella.

The role can be based remotely, although occasional travel to Glasgow may be required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Agile work practises within one or more teams to ensure successful delivery of outcomes. You will work closely with the DevOps team to define and prioritise delivery objectives in accordance with the DevOps Roadmap as well as co-ordinate the delivery of an expanded IT Disaster Recovery plan, engaging with Business, Application and Infrastructure teams as required to secure resource commitment to deliver DR Reviews and Tests in accordance with the plan.

You will have:

• Proven experience of working as a Project Manager with experience of Agile Delivery
• Knowledge and experience of Agile best practices and principles

• Knowledge of Agile Tools, (JIRA/Rally/ADO), collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint), Visio, reporting tools (Tableau), ticketing systems (ServiceNow).

• Experience from financial services, ideally Insurance, is highly desirable
• Experience of managing activities through the whole project/product lifecycle from inception to implementation
• The ability to conduct Agile ceremonies such as daily stand ups, Sprints and Retrospectives
• Strong communication skills are essential for this role, both written and verbal
