A prestigious US law firm based in the heart of the city, is looking to hire a new Records Assistant to join the firm on an initial 12 month FTC. The department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the firm’s hardcopy and digital files relating to both client-matter transactions and anti money laundering investigations / compliance material. The role is paying up to £25,000 plus great benefits.
Responsibilities will include:
- Entering and updating data in the firm’s records management system
- Maintaining the firm’s archives including liaising with the firm’s external storage provider
- Scanning and uploading files to, and retrieving files from, the firm’s filing systems
- Updating records of anti-money laundering due diligence materials
- Updating information screens
- Deleting records in accordance with the firm’s retention policies
Candidates must have previous administrative experience, preferably within a professional services organisation, excellent written, communication and problem solving skills and excellent Microsoft IT skills. Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm and the salary for the new Records Assistant is up to £25,000 plus excellent benefits are on offer.
