Introduction:

Cedar have exclusively partnered with a Global University to secure an interim Reconciliation's Accountant. This role is a 6 month contract paying 350- 400 (outside IR35) and is to assist the Financial Controller with a large bank reconciliation's project.

You should be available to start no later than Monday 18th December and will be required to work in their London offices 2 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday)

The Role:

As the Reconciliation's Accountant you will:

• Identify under performing accounts requiring corrective action and prioritize their inclusion in the Backlog Project.
• Conduct reviews of accounts to identify weaknesses in existing processes and practices
• Develop and maintain comprehensive work plans, time lines, and statements of work for each account within the Project's scope
• Verify that account balances are fully substantiated and resolve any unreconciled transactions
• Collaborate with teams to identify and implement process improvements, supporting agreed-upon changes
• Provide feedback to the ERP Programme team on issues and opportunities as they arise

Your Profile:

• Strong reconciliation's experience
• Strong excel skills (V-Lookups/Sumifs)
• Be immediately available
• Happy to commit to a 6 month contract
