Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to work with an established Client who operates within the judicial system, supporting the rehabilitation of offenders. The position is based within the Durham area. The role provides a fantastic opportunity for people looking to work within the public sector.

Successful candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills, be able to handle various administrative duties and have good IT Skills.

Duties Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

Welcoming and supporting visitors to the premises, using social distancing guidance, safely and efficiently

Delivering great Customer Service to all business users

Great communication skills and ability to deal with people

Dealing with Incoming and Outgoing Emails

General Post In and Out

General Administration

This is initially a 1 month assignment, depending on start date, but could be extended beyond that initial period.

It will be on a full-time basis working 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The pay rate will be 10.42 p/h.

To cover late night reporting from 5pm to 7 pm (possibly alternate weeks).

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in customer service and administration, have excellent communication skills and be well organised and able to use their own initiative. Proven IT skills would also be of benefit.

This position will require the candidate to hold a DBS. A DBS that is on the update system can be accepted otherwise you would need to apply for one through Brook Street if offered the role.
