We are seeking a qualified RE teacher to join a secondary school for a maternity cover starting after February after half-term. The job is part-time, across 4 days per week, and the working hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The school are flexible on which days you work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching RE to KS3 and KS4 students. You should have experience in teaching Religious Education, with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students.
Your new role
- Teaching Religious Education to KS3 and KS4 students
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Keeping up-to-date with subject developments and sharing good practice with colleagues
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
- Ability to engage and inspire students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
