Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear
Aldermaston, Berkshire (Hybrid)
50-60 per hour (Outside IR35)
Level of Security Clearance needed.
12-month contract

About the role:

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an Engineering Consultancy specialising in nuclear sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a 12-month contract for its Aldermaston site.

The Quantity Surveyor role comes with an hourly rate of up to 60.00 per hour
Key skills:

• Liaise with the client regarding any commercial discussions
• Provide commercial advice to the Project Managers
• Advising on a procurement strategy
• Preparation and negotiation of all sub-contract contract documentation
• Analyse sub-contract tender cost and contract submissions
• Managing an early warning process with the client and the sub-contractors
• Managing sub-contract monthly payment
• Working under NEC4 ECC, TSC and PSC contracts using options A, C &E
• Previous experience managing the commercial aspects of nuclear projects from pre to post contract
• SC clearance needed
