Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team for an 8-month site-based assignment in Manchester. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cost estimates, budget preparation, and cost control for assigned projects.
• Managing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conducting risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Collaborating with project managers to ensure financial goals are met.
• Regularly updating project financial reports and providing insights to stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in a Project Quantity Surveyor role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and industry best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Relevant professional qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience with EV projects would be desirable but not essential.
