We are currently recruiting for a Backend Developer (Python) to join one of our government clients for an initial 6 month contract.
The requirement is to support a secret classification customer service with a high dependency on system access from the client's site. Therefore, the role is full time, 5 days per week on site.
They are based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London.
Due to the nature of the role, they are unable to offer Hybrid, Remote or Homeworking arrangements. On-site attendance will form part of the contract. 5 days onsite
This role is working in an Security Cleared environment. A minimum of SC clearance is required for this role. Therefore, you will need to be SC Cleared or DV cleared or eligible to undertake SC Security Clearance.
Skills Experience Required:
Extensive knowledge of Python programming language
- Agile ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience
- Microsoft/Linux role-based certification and any relevant product certifications
- Knowledge of database concepts, object and Datamodelling techniques and design principles and of database architectures, software and facilities
- Substantial experience in relevant roles, including technologies in an enterprise environment, and of working within a secure environment
- Data engineering and manipulation
- Testing
- Prototyping
- Asset and configuration management
- User-centred design
- Analyse, interrogate and evaluate data
- Draft/author professional/technical documents
- Interpret professional/technical documents
- Lead in a Matrix structure
