We are seeking an experienced and immediately available (from June) Property Manager to join our busy Customer Operations team on a 4 month fixed term contract.
About Our Role
You will have a strong background in property management, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will provide support across a portfolio of later living developments, manage aspects of property management including service charge budgets and accounts, building maintenance, contractor performance, compliance, customer engagement and complaints, management of their area team, and will need to collaborate and form close relationships with all other areas of the Pegasus Homes business and externals to ensure the customer experience is one we are proud of.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational leadership and line management of on site teams within the defined area in the region, to ensure that operations run smoothly at each of our developments.
- Ensuring building compliance for each development within the area, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date against both regulatory and statutory requirements and effective reporting is undertaken and delivered.
- Work with our procurement team on procuring services, agreeing the scope of works and reporting on quality of service provided by contractors.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure customers, homeowners and tenants are satisfied with their Pegasus Homes journey, their homes and their communities and have a positive ongoing relationship with us.
- Handle customer complaints/queries in a timely manner and in line with our customer complaints policy and support the team with other complaints and issues.
- Carrying out regular site inspections across each site, being able to identify issues and reporting and working with the central team to ensure they are closed in a timely manner.
- Working with the onsite team to support in issues that are arising, dealing with compliance issues from on site tests, engaging with contractors, and ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standard.
- Contribute to generating new ideas and commercially viable concepts to improve our customer journey.
About You
You'll have relevant property management experience gained within a multi-site environment and a strong understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance. You'll have experience in interpreting and preparing reports and plans including financial reports, budgeting, works scheduling, workload allocation and performance planning. In addition we are looking for the following skills & experience:
- Experience in conducting site inspections, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and having a good working knowledge in building maintenance systems
- Experience in handling customer complaints and managing difficult conversations
- Extensive leadership experience, leading a team across multiple sites
- Experienced in the management and delivery of comprehensive and transparent service charges
- Confident and commercially aware with excellent communication skills
- Property related qualification such as IRPM
This is a regionally based role with frequent travel so a full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
