Project Planner HR(Inside IR35)

Contract Term: 6 Months     

Contracting Authority: DWP

Location: Hybrid Up to 3 days a week in the Manchester office / Remote Working

 

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions, and child maintenance policy. As the UK s biggest public service department, it administers the State Pension and a range of working age, disability and ill health benefits to around 20 million claimants and customers. Working with DWP, you will be helping us to drive our priorities to:

As a Project Planner HR your main responsibilities will be: 

 

Inclusive of:

  • Ability to undertake data gathering and analysis from a broad range of sources , identifying potential anomalies and potential risks/ issues and evidence base to support that.
  • Ability to build on findings and structure a planned project management approach. To work with managers and stakeholders to develop, maintain project plans, risk and issue logs, using standard project management methodologies and tools.  
  • Strong interpersonal and Stakeholder engagement and management skills at all levels
  • Confident in working with stakeholders and colleagues to produce progress reports and updates,  in various formats in order for these to be shared with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to be able to to prioritise when dealing with competing priorities in order to keep to deadlines.
  •  The ability to lead on specific tasks, adhering to defined governance frameworks, delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Designing and driving the people plan, including learning and training plan and employee engagement.

 

  • You ll have relevant experience in:
    • Strong Stakeholder Management experience with the ability to communicate at all levels
    • HR generalist with equivalent experience or CIPD level 5
    • Fundamentals in project Management with the ability to manage strategic resourcing projects
    • Design, implement, manage and review employee engagement activities, awaydays etc
