Project Manager (Secure Communications) - 60 per hour inside ir35 (overtime available) - 12 months (extension highly likely) - Portsmouth - onsite working - Sector: Aerospace / Defence / Telecommunications

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Project Manager to help shape the delivery for a vital project within one of the world's leading aerospace companies.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery phase of complex defence satellite communications projects and provide project initiation and planning expertise in the associated business winning campaigns.

Due to the security nature of this project, you will need an active SC security clearance on submission.

Responsibilities

• Project Initiation
• Project Planning
• Project Execution
• Project Monitoring Controlling, Closing of projects.
• Delivering complex secure communications infrastructure and services.
• Managing projects in accordance with the project lifecycle standards & accountable for the quality, cost and schedule performance of the project

Core Skills:

• A degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge.
• At least five years' experience of approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects and supporting bids in an engineering environment.
• Understanding of AGILE project management.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience working with the Aerospace, Space or Defence sector.
