Essential Skills:
- Experience in Managing Delivery of projects or work streams including the ability to manage people through significant change
- Excellent communication written, oral and presentational skills. Ability to present to senior management
- Effective team leadership skills, with the ability to manage conflict well
- PRINCE2/Prince2Agile Practitioner certification
- Experience of producing formal papers and reports
- Knowledge and experience working with corporate IT applications including Microsoft Project, Visio and Excel
- Good practical experience of risk management processes and development
Role description:
- Assuming responsibility and authority for delivery of high profile and business critical projects within the Directorate to time, quality and within budget. 45%
- Developing and delivering project plans and managing risks and issues. 20%
- Managing delivery in line with project plans and reporting on progress and exceptions as required. 5%
- Identifying and managing dependencies. 5%
- Identifying, engaging with, informing and influencing stakeholders, including staff, to ensure their commitment to successful delivery of projects. 10%
- Working closely with colleagues in reporting, supporting and supplying advice and updates on the progress of your projects and workstreams. 5%
- Leading and facilitating a range of working groups formed to assist with the delivery of projects. 10%
