Role specification:
To provide administration and reporting support to the Scottish Water Horizons Third Party Operational team.
The Third Party Operational team liaise with our customers to establish their requirements with regards to liquid waste movements from the customers site to treatment centres. The candidate will be required to programme vehicle movements, liaise with framework hauliers and treatment operators (this is an important element of the role and training will be provided).
The candidate should have strong input data skills and should be confident when investigating and resolving queries, both with weighbridge entries, supplier invoices and be capable of processing relatively complex data for upload and meeting deadlines.
This position is office based and the candidate will be working at our operational site in Cumbernauld.
The operation of our weighbridge system is an integral function of the role (previous experience preferable but training will be provided).
More importantly they need to be strong on administration/paperwork.
Confident with all Microsoft packages - especially Excel and able to pick up new systems/processes.
Comfortable with customer interaction is a must and for the role holder as this is a big part of the role (email, telephone and face to face)
Working knowledge of processes and procedures within finance and/ or operational environment would be beneficial.
They will be required to have a good-eye for detail and the ability to prioritise their own workload.
Will also take on other admin duties such processing purchase orders, franking machine, preparing price increase letters, etc.
