Actio Recruitment are assisting one of our Engineering clients based in Sheffield with their search for a TIG Welder.

The Company

Our client is a successful subcontract precision engineering company who specialise in aerospace and defence work.

Duties will include:

• Work on semi-automated welding equipment for both Circumferential and Longitudinal welds.
• Conduct weld inspection operations to customer drawings.
• Conduct TIG welding as and when required.
• Conduct weld repairs as and when required.
• Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer as well as internal standards and specifications (NADCAP and AS9100 standards)
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ/qualification in Engineering discipline - Desirable
• Proven track record in welding - Essential
• Aerospace experience - Desirable
  
  

Pay & Shifts

Salary = 30,000 - 32,000 this includes the shift allowance.

Shifts = Mornings & Afternoons
