Project Manager

6 month initial contract (likely to be extended)

Perth/Glasgow based

Hybrid role - occasional travel to the offices

From £550 per day, inside IR35

Our major client in the Energy industry is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a 6 month initial contract, which is likely to be extended.

The role will include:

• Delivery of organisational governance and standards across key transmission data areas, starting with asset data. Other key data domains including system planning and investment, network performance, projects and operations shall also be areas of focus. There will be a need to remain closely aligned to Value Stream leads and product owners data requirements.
• Dashboards for insights and analytics on adherence to standards
• Data quality analysis and management of cleansing activities
• Establishing principles and practices that data related projects should adopt into their delivery
• Provision of a new Azure hosted data platform for the business which will provide the capabilities for insights / analytics across a consolidated set of data sources
• Delivery of a new platform that will provide the capabilities for sharing data with customers, stakeholders, partners, as required by Ofgem

Key skills and experience

• Senior project manager with experience delivering projects within large scale transformation, digital and data driven programmes
• Although not a technology expert, must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of technology capabilities and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business
• Fully understand what is needed within data related projects to drive business and technology data outcomes
• Demonstrable experience of managing a multi-disciplinary project delivery covering the full spectrum of resources needed for large scale data initiatives
