Project Manager - Corporate Assets
Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with a Public Sector organisation in Warwickshire which is looking for a Project Manager to work within their Assets Team on a long-term ongoing basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The post holder will develop and deliver property related projects (housing and corporate) with a particular emphasis on decarbonisation.
As a Project Manager (Corporate Assets), you will:
- Manage and co-ordinate project teams.
- Deliver individual construction and property related projects in accordance with the Organisations Asset Management Strategy and to the required quality standards, delivery timescales, and agreed costs.
- Use a wealth of data to inform recommendations for projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory compliance, with a particular emphasis on decarbonization.
- Utilise data from a variety of sources to inform project planning and future property
- investment.
- Prepare project feasibilities, project initiation documents, project briefs, option appraisals, project plans, project risk registers and specifications.
- Ensure high quality contract/consultant management to establish effective relationships including the use of appropriate contracts/procurement methods recording contract meetings and contract feedback all as required for the good management of contractors and consultants.
- Appoint and manage contractors and internal project resources for efficient project planning and delivery in accordance with the organisation's requirements.
- Co-ordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects.
- Assist in undertaking a lesson learned exercise for each project to feed into the project evaluation and support future project planning.
- Organise project management meetings and attend the Asset Management Group when requested to report on individual projects.
- Ensure that project files and document control procedures are maintained.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Experience of delivering complex property and construction projects (up to 2M), ideally within the public sector
- Experience of preparing project systems, project plans, project appraisals, risk registers, and options appraisals
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to construction Projects
- Some experience of specifying and commissioning professional services and construction works including contract procurement, contract management plus the ability to manage and supervise a diverse range of works
- Some experience of setting, managing and monitoring minor scale capital and revenue budgets
This is a long-term on-going role paying up to 35 per hour umbrella inside IR35 (with a possibility of becoming permanent). The role is hybrid with a 60/40 remote and onsite split.
