Summary: The Project Manager - Business Change role involves leading technology-driven transformation projects for the UK's largest producer of zero carbon energy. The position requires a focus on business change, ensuring the integration of new systems and processes while managing stakeholder engagement and project delivery. The contract is for an initial duration of six months with a hybrid working arrangement near Durham. The role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a daily rate of £550.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver Business Improvement projects that drive significant business change, ensuring timely, scoped, and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders across all levels to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including IT, business units, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, manage changes, and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective change management practices are in place, including communication plans, training, and user adoption strategies.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, providing solutions and escalations as necessary.
  • Deliver post-implementation support and conduct project reviews to capture lessons learned.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on business change and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMI).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in leading change management processes, including user adoption and training strategies.
