and Ireland? If so, come and join our Onshore Wind Commercial and Investment team within EDF Renewables as a Business Development Manager (Project Finance).
The Opportunity
As our Business Development Manager (Project Finance) you will work with Project Managers to generate and execute Project Finance and Partnerships across our onshore wind portfolio.
The Onshore Wind team is responsible for developing investment cases for projects from planning consent up to Final Investment Decision and handover to the Construction team.
The role will participate in all key aspects of Project Finance, including but not limited to PF strategy and governance, origination, analysing opportunities and executing PF. This will include managing multi-disciplinary subject-matter experts to complete due diligence, prepare/seek investment committee decisions and ultimately complete transaction documents.
The role will partner with Project Delivery teams and coordinate with both key internal functions and external advisors to successfully execute Project Finance.
What You'll Be Doing Day To Day
Execute transaction processes including data room preparation/management, due diligence, transaction documents, transactionbudget management, board & approval papers and management of the governance process
Working collaboratively across the organisation, operating cross-functionally and bringing together avariety of solutions for our investments
Prepare materials to support a transaction for both internal and external stakeholders.
Engage professionally with our counterparties, such as industry partners, investors and due diligence advisors
Work with project teams to deliver transactions
Lead on the negotiation of documents required for the delivery of the transaction including joint venture agreements, share purchase agreements, warranty & indemnity insurances
Deliver pertinent analysis to facilitate EDF Renewables management teams and wider businesses understanding to aid
decision-making.
What do you need to be great at this role?
As the successful Business Development Manager (Project Finance), you will be experienced in securing Project Finance for energy or other large-scale infrastructure projects. To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator with experience in building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The Onshore Wind business continues to grow with exciting opportunities both through investment in our existing greenfield development portfolio and the acquisition of new projects to support overall growth ambitions.
