Job Description
- Manage the change and improvement programme at this org in Scotland effectively coordinating the programme's projects and management of their interdependencies including oversight of any risks or issues arising.
- Report on the programme - reporting progress, performance against targets and escalating risk as required to ensure we accurately capture progress so that we are getting where we need to.
- Create and maintain a complete timeline of the programme, identifying key milestones within and across projects and the critical path, proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, initiating appropriate corrective action and reporting emerging risk.
- Establish and embed governance arrangements and supporting documentation for the programme
- Manage the programme's budget monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
- Monitor and report on the allocation of common resources and skills within the programme's individual projects highlighting dependencies and taking proactive steps to minimise pressure points where possible
- Record, monitor, manage and report risks to the programme's successful outcome
- Propose the initiation of extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise
- Report and communicate the programme's status and performance to the Strategic Leadership Team producing programme reports, materials and content as required.
- Create ongoing communication about change and improvement programme progress with the wider organisation
