One of the fastest-growing FinTech companies in the UK is seeking a Product Owner to join their team in Grantham, on a 9 month fixed term contract.
This is a majority remote working role. Ideally, the successful candidate will work in their office 1-2 times per week however, this can be flexible and for the right candidate, this can be 1-2 times per month.

As a Product Owner, you ll play a crucial role in leading projects, driving strategy and product success. By managing a strong team, you ll ensure that project expectations are met or exceeded, whilst working within deadlines and budgetary guidelines. This role is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary and additional benefits.
Product Owner Responsibilities:
- Define user stories & EPIC s
- Creating and prioritising a product backlog, that is clearly defined (List of features and defined requirements)
- Collaborating closely with cross functional teams (developers, designers, quality assurance). Their primary point of contact
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders
- Maintaining a good understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging trends, new technologies that may impact the products success
- Responsible for chairing daily stands up and refinement ceremonies
- Demonstrating leadership and ownership of the product, contributing to the product vision and goals
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring stakeholders as well as the product squad are regularly provided with updates
- Decision making regarding product roadmap, prioritisation, resource allocation based on input from stakeholders and the development team
Product Owner Requirements:
- Proven experience of product ownership or similar role
- Experience of people management, project planning and taking a strategic approach to work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- An attitude towards innovation and success
